“as a C12 Group…the higher level of commitment required was rewarded with significantly greater progress in my member companies.  Those companies whose leaders were able to make the enhanced commitment are growing in grace and the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ as never before.

One member has grown his business from one struggling retail store to five profitable ones because of the encouragement of the group.  While C12 is not about growth per se, the impact and godly leadership of this member has grown substantially.

Another member is thankful to the group for asking the tough questions that restrained him from embarking on a project that was not sound.

Three of my members have been encouraged to earn their MBA degrees, mutually helping each other through the courses.  One of them says his business has grown its profits as a result of each course assignment.

My greatest satisfaction is seeing the close fellowship and transparency within this group.  It is the only place I see Christians telling each other the truth in love.”

“Being the first Chair after Buck was a challenge that required total faith and trust in God.  We ran out of money and were really questioning our decision.  My wife had asked that we give it 30 days to make it or get out.  We trusted God, continued doing the sales activities that any business requires and God blessed our perseverance.  God added five new members that month.  It would have been very easy to cut and run, but I truly believe that God has called us to this work and ministry to change lives.  Now we have three C12 groups - two with 15 members and one with 13 and several prospects -  two Key Players groups with 20 members, and a growing C12 Alpha group.  We are also looking to God to provide new prospects to start other C12 groups in our metro area.

C12 has helped me to learn that when God calls you to do His work, expect obstacles, trials and tribulations…but He is very faithful.  He expects us to do our part and go out every day and make the calls and do the work.  He has allowed us to see thousands of lives changed as a result of the 45 Christian business owners that belong to C12 here in Tampa….  every month somebody has a wonderful testimony or is being changed/challenged by God in their business and I get to be a part of it.  What a privilege!"

"I’ve seen transformation in all members who have invested in C12.  Their businesses are more profitable, their relationships are clearer and richer than before, and their family benefits from their membership as they sharpen their skills as servants and stewards.  Meeting after meeting, blind spots are revealed to each member in ways which enable them to clearly see the action steps they need to take.  If C12 had a mascot it would be the symbol of the Holy Spirit with a 2x4.  Each member is encouraged and challenged to ‘press on’ in all areas of leadership, making them the leader they truly desire to be."

"I’m constantly amazed at how relevant each month’s segments are to the vast majority of our members, and how many times my members will comment that a segment was exactly what they needed that week.

At any point in time it seems that one-third of my members are in danger of being on ‘cruise control’ (success leading to complacency); one-third are flying high and in danger of unnecessarily complicating their life or business (via debt, acquisition, busyness) due to the temptations of pride or greed; and one-third are struggling to persevere and are suffering from fear or chronic compromises (often due to lack of faith or diligence).  In C12, we minister to each of these conditions continually as we cover the various aspects of general management and Christian business leadership.

My greatest thrill as a C12 Chair is to see our members minister to each other, guided by the Holy Spirit and aided by C12’s specially-anointed materials.  Once, we had exhausted our brainstorming ideas in months of wrestling with one member’s seemingly intractable problem which threatened to sink his business.  After deciding to fast and pray, it was amazing to see the Lord resolve the issue in an wholly unexpected way prior to the end of our fast!  Whole families were impacted by this amazing answer to prayer.  Another member persevered serious illness and months of difficult business circumstances, in large measure due to the support and encouragement of his C12 peers, and later successfully sold the business as a ‘going concern’ to a strategic buyer.  He then began serving other Christian business leaders as a C12 chair in another area!  God is good!"
