C12 Area Chair – South Florida

Seann Maxwell brings 45 years of business and government experience to his role as C12 Area Chair for Southeast Florida.  Engaged in business since an early age, Seann started serving customers in his grandfather’s country store, and from that developed a life-long passion for exemplary service to customers and the community.  Seann believes that excellent leadership, coupled with productive people aligned to a common, easily understood, focused purpose and supporting values, underpins all truly successful businesses.

Blessed with an entrepreneurial spirit, he had two money-making businesses in high school and another in university while on full scholarship. Educated with undergrad and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering, Seann has worked as a Canadian military officer, project engineer, senior diplomat for the Government of Canada, corporate executive with two international companies, marketing and management consultant, business owner and executive coach.

For the past 29 years, Seann, as a consultant and coach, has served over 400 private and public sector clients in over 200 industries by helping them develop corporate strategic plans, marketing strategies, international projects, exit strategies and prepare/negotiate the sale of their companies.  On the selling side, Seann has personally sold more than $500 million of projects, products and services while living in seven countries and travelling to more than 40 on business.  He has developed successful organizations, including: a 10-person professional marketing team that increased sales of turnkey chemical plants from $8 to $60+ million in just 18 months; a 25-person marketing and management consulting company; and a retail nutrition store.  He has also negotiated large project contracts, including: hydro-power design contracts in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Nepal; a luxury hotel in Panama; and various turnkey chemical process plants in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Seann and his wife Morganne came to the Lord relatively late in life, each accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior in early 1992.  Both possess a passion for customer service and blue water sailing, as well as a love of Christ and for the adventure of experiencing other cultures.  Seann is excited about the Lord’s call to lead C12 in Southeast Florida where he will work to infuse the transforming light of Christ into communities of Miami-Dade County one business at a time.
